About Sean

Sean A. Brown has extensive litigation experience across insurance law, defending motor vehicle accident tort claims, statutory accident benefits disputes, and related insurance matters. Under his leadership the firm built out a class proceeding practice with a consumer protection focus, and his advocacy has produced certified class actions including cases involving dental negligence, solicitor's negligence, and privacy breaches. He has appeared before the Superior Court of Justice, the Court of Appeal, the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, and private arbitrators, and also runs a mediation practice built on more than two decades of working alongside mediators and advocates. He was called to the Ontario bar in 1999 after earning his LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1997.
