About Andrew

Andrew practices securities law and mergers and acquisitions, representing public and private issuers as well as securities dealers on public offerings, private placements, continuous disclosure, corporate governance, and share and asset acquisitions. He often serves as local counsel on national securities transactions for clients that include TSX and TSX Venture listed companies and securities dealers and advisors. His work has included representing Empire Company and Sobeys on major public offerings and private placements, and advising issuers on going-private transactions and initial public offerings under the TSX Venture Exchange's capital pool program. Andrew earned his LLB from Dalhousie University in 1991 and a BComm from Saint Mary's University in 1988. He was called to the Nova Scotia bar in 1992 and is a member of the Canadian Bar Association. He has been recognized in Best Lawyers for corporate and securities law and in Lexpert for corporate finance and securities, and mergers and acquisitions.
