About Amanda
Amanda is an associate in Gowling WLG's Ottawa office and a civil litigator with primary focus on estate administration and estate litigation. She specializes in advancing and defending will challenges, disputes over removal or replacement of estate trustees, guardianship applications and defending and challenging passing of accounts. She also advises clients on complaints by beneficiaries about estate administration, family members' concerns about powers of attorney and disputes over compensation claimed by estate trustees and attorneys. Amanda has appeared at all levels of court, including the Superior Court of Justice, Divisional Court, Ontario Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada.
