About Allison
Allison Spiegel joined Babin Bessner Spry LLP in 2025 after practising in the litigation group of a national law firm. Her broad litigation practice covers professional liability defence, corporate and commercial disputes, public law, regulatory matters, and risk management, and she has acted as counsel before every level of court in Ontario, the Federal Court of Canada, and the Supreme Court of Canada. Allison holds a Canadian JD from the University of Windsor and an American JD, awarded cum laude, from the University of Detroit Mercy, where she volunteered with the school's Immigration Law Clinic. She also volunteered with a trans rights legal clinic through Pro Bono Students Canada and served as lead teaching assistant for Windsor Law's Academic Success Program. Before law school, she completed an Honours BA in History and Middle East Studies at the University of Toronto with distinction and a Master's degree in Conflict Resolution from King's College London. She was called to the Ontario bar in 2022 and speaks French.
