About Aline
Aline Avanessy, B.A., LL.B., is a founding partner of Avanessy Giordano LLP. She previously served as in-house counsel for one of Canada's largest insurance companies, which gave her insight into how insurers evaluate and contest claims, knowledge she now applies on behalf of her own clients. Her practice spans personal injury claims, motor vehicle liability, property and liability disputes, product liability, and employment litigation. Aline has appeared on behalf of clients before the Court of Appeal for Ontario, the Superior Court of Justice, and Small Claims Court, as well as before the Financial Services Commission of Ontario and the Criminal Compensation Board. She belongs to the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association and the Law Society of Upper Canada, and is conversant in Armenian and French in addition to English.
