About Ellen

Ellen Bolger is an associate at Dale Melville Law, where she practises criminal law. She articled with a criminal defence lawyer in Whitehorse, Yukon, working on a wide range of files, and before moving into criminal law she investigated human rights complaints. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University and graduated with distinction from the University of Saskatchewan College of Law before completing a Master of Laws at the University of British Columbia, where she was awarded the Dean of Law LLM Thesis Prize. She has appeared in Provincial and Supreme Courts in British Columbia as well as the Territorial Court of Yukon, and draws on defences including the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms for her clients.
