About Courtney

Courtney Madison studied political science and philosophy for her undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto, then completed dual Canadian and US law degrees at the University of Ottawa and Michigan State University. She began her legal career at a Toronto insurance defence firm, where she built a broad background in insurance defence and litigation work, focusing on special investigations, WSIB matters, and general litigation. She has appeared before several courts, Ontario's Financial Services Commission, and the License Appeal Tribunal, and has tried cases in Small Claims Court and the Superior Court of Justice. Madison joined Naimark Law in 2018, where her practice now covers personal injury litigation, including car accidents, slip and falls, disability claims, wrongful dismissals, and breach of contract matters. Her earlier work defending insurers gives her useful experience from both sides of a claim. She focuses on client service and pushes files toward resolution, whether through settlement or a hearing.
