About Alex

Alex Smith is an associate at Keel Cottrelle LLP who began at the firm as an articling student, gaining experience across civil litigation, education law, human rights, labour and employment, procurement, corporate-commercial litigation and administrative law. As an articling student he worked directly with senior counsel on litigation preparation and on providing legal opinions to clients, and he continues to build that experience as an associate. He was called to the Ontario bar in 2018 and holds a Juris Doctor and a Bachelor of Arts, both from the University of Toronto. He serves as an executive member of the OBA's Education Law and Administrative Law sections and contributes regularly to several of the firm's newsletters.
