About Alex

Alex Lucifero is an employment lawyer and Partner with Samfiru Tumarkin LLP's Labour and Employment Law practice group, providing employment law consultations to clients in Ontario and Alberta. For more than a decade he has advised both employees and employers on wrongful and constructive dismissals, terminations for cause, severance packages, workplace harassment and workplace discrimination. He also represents individuals whose long-term disability claims have been denied, working to secure proper compensation from some of Canada's largest insurance companies. Alex hosts the Employment Law Show, a weekly call-in program on workplace rights, on Newstalk 580 CFRA in Ottawa, and he is a frequent media contributor on employment law issues for outlets including CTV News, Global News and CBC News.
