About Adam

Adam M. Slavens is a partner practicing in restructuring and insolvency law. Adam represents creditors, investors, purchasers, distressed corporations, equity holders, and court-appointed officers during complex financial restructurings. This includes out-of-court workouts and refinancings, as well as formal proceedings under Canadian statutes such as the CCAA and the CBCA. Adam's also served as General Editor of the National Insolvency Review, a Canadian publication covering bankruptcy and insolvency law. Before joining Torys, Adam worked as an analyst at a private investment firm in Toronto.
