About Samuel

Samuel Eisner is an associate at McKiggan Hebert Lawyers practising exclusively on the plaintiff side, with a background in environmental, insurance, and administrative law. He graduated from Dalhousie's Schulich School of Law in 2024 with a certificate in Environmental Law and was admitted to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2025. During law school he received the Law Foundation of Nova Scotia Scholarship and won the Insolvency Institute of Canada prize for the highest grade in Dalhousie's bankruptcy law course. Samuel articled at Ecojustice Canada's Halifax office, working on challenges to industrial approvals, and has volunteered with East Coast Environmental Law on property law and coastal protection issues. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from Dalhousie University in 2020.
