About Linden & Associates

Linden & Associates is a personal injury litigation firm based in downtown Toronto, with its office in the TD Canada Trust Tower at 161 Bay Street. Founder Justin Linden earned a law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School and was called to the Ontario bar in 1997. The firm now has five lawyers who represent people who have been seriously hurt, in matters that range from motor vehicle collisions and medical malpractice to nursing home negligence, long term disability denials, and civil claims arising from sexual assault.

The team's paths to the firm vary. Naphtali Silverman, called to the bar in 2013, has argued matters up to the Ontario Court of Appeal. David Green joined after working at a large national firm that defended insurance companies, municipalities, and hospitals, and won the Ivan Cleveland Rand Prize for constitutional law while at Osgoode Hall. Bill White, called in 2023, articled at another downtown plaintiff side injury firm before joining Linden & Associates, and the newest lawyer, Cole Macfarlane, started as a summer student at the firm before being called in 2025. According to the firm, its lawyers will travel to meet a client at a hospital, home, or workplace anywhere in Ontario, and the firm says it has also acted for clients in matters that reached the United States, Europe, and Israel.
