Srebrolow Lebowitz Spadafora Professional Corporation (SLSPC) was founded in 1998 and works out of an office in south Etobicoke, on the west end of Toronto. The firm focuses on personal injury, disability, and employment law: motor vehicle accident and accident benefits claims, dental malpractice, short term, long term, and CPP disability appeals, slip and fall and other premises liability cases, and workplace disputes such as wrongful dismissal, constructive dismissal, discrimination, and harassment. It works on a contingency basis, so clients don't pay unless the firm recovers compensation for them, and the fee is capped at the 33% maximum the Law Society of Ontario allows. The firm's three name partners have practised together for years. James W. Srebrolow, called to the Ontario bar in 1992, worked as a registered medical laboratory technologist before turning to law and has represented accident victims connected to the TTC subway disaster, the Egypt Air disaster, and the Walkerton water contamination. Sidney J. Lebowitz, called to the bar in 1995, focuses on personal injury and insurance litigation along with wrongful dismissal and dental malpractice files. Sam F. Spadafora was called to the Maryland bar in 1996 and the Ontario bar in 1999, and became a partner at the firm in 2002.
