About Zehra

Zehra Sheerazi's practice centers on corporate and securities work, particularly private equity and M&A matters. She has advised companies in both the public and private sectors, along with financial institutions and pension funds, on cross-border deals. Her work spans investing and divestiture matters such as asset and stock deals, co-investments, joint ventures, and both majority and minority equity investments. Sheerazi supports clients from their earliest investments through later-stage capital markets and M&A work, along with ongoing governance and compliance matters. She serves on the board and Governance Committee of the Whitney Child Centre and holds board or committee roles with groups such as Girl Guides of Canada and the Canadian Mental Health Association, Ontario. She has also mentored high school students through the LAWS program and junior lawyers through MAX-CMLA.
