About Zachary

Zachary Gerard practices administrative law, municipal law and professional regulation matters. He was born and raised in Southwestern Ontario, earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor in 2015, and was awarded the Law Society of Upper Canada / Osgoode Society Award of Excellence as one of the school's top graduating students. During law school he volunteered as a caseworker and litigator at Community Legal Aid clinic, and after articling in Windsor he represented clients in Ontario accident benefits claims before shifting to administrative law in Alberta. Zachary was called to the Ontario bar in 2016 and the Alberta bar in 2024, joining Shores Jardine from a mid-sized Alberta litigation boutique in February 2025.
