About Yunjae

Yunjae Kim is a partner at BSLSC LLP whose family law and child protection practice dates back to 2013. He handles matters with complicated financial and parenting elements, including business valuation, income assessment, pensions, tax questions, and cross-border or interjurisdictional disputes. Trained in collaborative family law, Yunjae favours negotiation, mediation, and arbitration where possible but will litigate vigorously when necessary, regularly appearing before the Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Justice. He earned his JD from the University of Toronto in 2012 and was called to the bar in 2013, having earlier volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada. He is fluent in Korean and has served as an executive director of the Korean Canadian Lawyers Association.
