About Steve

Steve Benmor founded Benmor Family Law Group more than 30 years ago, building deep experience settling divorce cases involving significant wealth and assets. He is skilled in mediating high net worth divorces and complex financial disputes, drawing on knowledge of divorce, tax, real estate, corporate, and trust law. Steve is licensed, certified, and accredited across all out-of-court divorce options, and he holds designations as a Certified Family Mediator from the Alternative Dispute Resolution Institute of Ontario and a Specialist in Parenting Coordination from the Family Dispute Resolution Institute of Ontario. He is one of only 24 lawyers in Toronto certified as a Specialist in Family Law and one of 56 Canadian Fellows of the International Academy of Family Lawyers. Steve holds a Master of Laws in Family Law and is frequently interviewed as a divorce expert by television, radio, and print media.
