About Yuliya

Yuliya Mykhaylychenko is an associate at Polley Faith who previously summered and articled with the firm, working on civil, commercial and regulatory matters. She completed her JD at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law in 2023, and while there volunteered at Downtown Legal Services representing individuals facing criminal or academic offences. She also served as a legal research assistant at the David Asper Centre for Constitutional Rights, contributing to a submission on artificial intelligence and section 8 privacy rights, and received the Professor Alan A. Mewett, Q.C. Prize in Criminal Law. Before law school she graduated with High Honours from Trinity College at the University of Toronto and served as Editor in Chief of the University of Toronto Undergraduate Criminology Review.
