About Yulia

Yulia Pesin was called to the Ontario bar in 2012 after earning her J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2011. She began her career as an insurance defence civil litigator at two prominent Toronto firms, acting as co-counsel on two Superior Court jury trials and co-editing a LexisNexis textbook on Ontario insurance law. Since moving her focus to condominium law, she has represented clients before the Human Rights Tribunal, the Condominium Authority Tribunal, the Superior Court of Justice, and on appeals to the Divisional Court, and also handles solicitor-side work including corporate governance, meeting chairing, contract drafting, and by-law amendments. Yulia regularly leads CMRAO-accredited seminars for property managers and serves on the CAI Canada Advocacy Committee. She holds a double Honours B.A. in History and Psychology from York University and is fluent in Russian.
