About Anna
Anna's practice is dedicated exclusively to construction law, representing owners, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, design professionals, sureties, insurers, and trustees in bankruptcy. She is also a mediator with decades of experience in alternative dispute resolution. As a certified specialist in construction law, Anna handles matters involving liens, breach of trust, performance and payment bonds, delay and impact claims, and negligent or deficient design or construction, whether through negotiation, arbitration, adjudication, or litigation. She has been recognized as a Leading Practitioner in Construction Law by the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory and has been listed in Best Lawyers in Canada for construction litigation every year since 2006. She is a Fellow of the Canadian College of Construction Lawyers. Anna served as the firm's Construction Practice Group Head for 30 years and was its Managing Partner from 2005 to 2010. She earned her LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1985 and was called to the Ontario bar in 1987.
