About Yonida

Yonida is a corporate and intellectual property lawyer who works with innovative start-ups from their earliest stages through to an eventual M&A or public offering. She handles corporate transactions such as reorganizations, acquisitions, and capital raising, and assists foreign companies entering the Canadian market with subsidiary structuring, IP transfer, brand protection, and corporate finance. Yonida also leads the firm's innovation initiatives, including automation and tech-enabled service development. She previously worked at two national law firms in roles spanning knowledge management, innovation, and business development. She holds two LL.M. degrees, most recently from Osgoode Hall Law School, and an LL.B. from Democritus University of Thrace in Greece, and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2020 after practising law in Athens.
