About Dunny
Dunny Medina is a partner at Oziel Law who was previously a partner at a large downtown Toronto firm. He brings over a decade of experience in securities and corporate commercial law, working on start-up financings, private placements, IPOs and stock exchange listings, mergers and acquisitions, and other business combinations and debt and equity financings, along with shareholder and general corporate matters. His clients span technology, mining, manufacturing, real estate and finance, with assets located across Canada, the United States, Israel, Mexico, South America, Turkey, Taiwan and Africa, and he has represented founders, companies, investors, underwriters and agents in transactions including private placements, IPOs, reverse takeovers and capital pool company qualifying transactions. He deals regularly with the Ontario Securities Commission, the Toronto Stock Exchange and the TSX Venture Exchange. Dunny earned his LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2007 and an honours B.A. in Classical Studies from the University of Western Ontario, and he was called to the bar in Ontario in 2008. Outside the office he is involved as an investor and pro-bono advisor to start-up ventures in Canada and Israel, and he performs and records original music as a guitarist and singer.
