About Yana

Yana Fox is an associate at Wagner Sidlofsky LLP, working within the firm's Estates and Commercial Litigation groups. She earned her J.D. from the Lincoln Alexander School of Law, where she won the Canadian Client Consultation Competition and went on to represent Canada at the international round. She also holds an honours BA in professional writing from York University, graduating with high distinction and Dean's List standing. Before joining the firm, Yana trained as a summer student and lawyer in a commercial litigation role at a large full-service firm, and earlier in her career she worked as a licensed paralegal handling highway traffic offences, summary conviction matters and trial preparation alongside criminal lawyers. She was called to the Ontario bar in 2023 and is fluent in English and Russian.
