About Wayne

Wayne Rusnak received his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Saskatchewan in 1972 after working as a summer student with the Grotsky Milliken law firm and articling with Milliken & Plosz. He joined Milliken & Plosz as an associate in 1973 and became a partner in Milliken & Rusnak in 1974, joining Rusnak Balacko Kachur Rusnak as a partner in 1978. He has practised civil litigation since 1973, including personal injury, family law, medical malpractice, wrongful dismissal, product liability, wrongful death and contractual disputes, and has appeared in courts at every level in Saskatchewan and at the Supreme Court of Canada. Wayne has served as City Solicitor for the City of Yorkton since 1978 and was appointed Queen's Counsel in 2008. He has volunteered as a lecturer for the Public Legal Education Association, served as a past Director of the Saskatchewan Trial Lawyers Association and the York Lake Regional Park Authority, and acted as solicitor for the Yorkton Terriers.
