About Emmett

Emmett Ruff's practice focuses on corporate and commercial law, including the purchase and sale of businesses, corporate and farm reorganizations, and secured financing transactions. He also acts for corporations, shareholders and individuals in litigation involving contractual disputes, debt recovery, environmental claims and shareholder disputes, and assists clients with estate administration, estate planning and residential real estate. Emmett grew up in Yorkton and joined the firm as an associate in 2019 after receiving his Juris Doctor with distinction from the University of Saskatchewan in 2018. He previously completed a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with great distinction at the University of Saskatchewan in 2014, and before becoming a lawyer he worked in economic forecasting and the insurance industry.
