About Wayne

Wayne Leung has a general corporate practice, representing companies and business owners on commercial agreements, due diligence, and business and real estate transactions. He brings extensive international business and real estate transaction experience to the firm, having spent 16 years in real estate private equity in acquisitions, asset management, and in-house counsel roles. During that time he helped execute more than US$3 billion in real estate transactions across residential, hotel, resort, office, and retail projects. In Hong Kong, he worked for a Singaporean investment fund that deployed institutional capital from U.S. and European pension and endowment funds into China, Japan, Korea, Thailand, and Australia. Before joining 606 Essex Chambers, Wayne spent eight years as Managing Director and General Counsel for one of the largest real estate private equity funds in Taipei City. He speaks Mandarin Chinese.
