About Orrin

Orrin Stroll founded Stroll Law Group and focuses on entertainment and immigration law. He has worked in Vancouver's film and television industry since 1999, representing writers, producers, recording artists, and other creative-industry clients, and later expanded his practice to include business and personal immigration matters after clients and colleagues began referring him such work. Before starting the firm, he spent eight years as VP of Business and Legal Affairs at Shavick Entertainment, a Vancouver production company, where he oversaw legal matters for 12 to 16 films and one to two television series a year for clients including E! Entertainment Television, Fox Family Channel, and Turner Broadcasting. He has earned more than seventy-five motion picture credits in roles such as producer and executive-in-charge-of-production. Stroll also lectures at Vancouver Film School, where he has taught courses on film financing, copyright, and entertainment contracts. He holds a J.D. from the University of British Columbia, with a focus on entertainment law, and a B.A. with Honours from McGill University.
