About Michael

Michael Ross is an associate at Kirk Montoute Dawson LLP, which he joined in August 2019, practising in family law, wills and estates, and mediation. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary Faculty of Law in 2016, volunteering with the Innocence Project during law school, and completed his articles at a full-service firm in Leduc before being called to the Alberta bar in 2017. He then practised family law, real estate, and wills and estates at a small Edmonton firm before returning to Calgary. Before law school he earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from the University of Alberta with distinction and worked at a brokerage firm and an insurance company, giving him a strong grounding in financial planning and asset management that he applies to family and estate matters.
