About David

David Collins, based in the Cranbrook office, was born and raised in Newfoundland and earned a Bachelor of Commerce from Memorial University in 1990 before completing a law degree at the University of Saskatchewan in 1993. Collins articled with Morelli Chertkow in Kamloops, then moved to the Kootenays, working with the predecessor firm to Rockies Law Corporation before joining Majic Purdy in Fernie in 1997 and later establishing an independent Cranbrook practice in 2005. Collins practises family law, civil litigation, estate litigation, and criminal law in the East Kootenay region.
