W. Rosalind Eastmond joined Dutton Brock in 2013, focusing her practice on insurance defence litigation in first-party accident benefit claims. She has appeared before the Licence Appeal Tribunal, the former Financial Service Commission of Ontario, and the Superior Court of Justice, with particular interest in coverage disputes, priority disputes, loss transfer, and misrepresentation claims. She chaired the Accident Benefit Sub-committee of Canadian Defence Lawyers in 2023. Rosalind earned her LLB from the University of the West Indies in 1986, attended Sir Hugh Wooding Law School, and was called to the Bar of Barbados in 1990, going on to practice criminal defence and civil litigation there, including personal injury, family law, and estate matters. After receiving national accreditation from the Federation of Law Societies of Canada, she was called to Ontario's bar in 2012. Before joining Dutton Brock, she worked at a boutique personal injury firm handling plaintiff accident benefits and tort claims.
