About Vanessa
Vanessa Hansford practises as a partner at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP out of the firm's Toronto office. With more than ten years in business law, her practice centres on investment funds, asset management and securities regulatory matters. Vanessa's clients include institutional investors such as pension plans, private equity sponsors and other investment managers active in exchange-traded funds, mutual funds and private equity vehicles. She has acted for issuers and underwriters on public offerings and private placements, and has assisted with the formation of public and private investment funds. She earned her Juris Doctor cum laude from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Arts magna cum laude from York University, and joined the firm as a summer student in 2009, completing her articles in 2010 and 2011.
