Tyler was called to the Nova Scotia bar in 2015 and holds a J.D. with a Business Law specialization from Dalhousie University, along with a B.A. (Hons.) from Cape Breton University and a B.Sc. from Dalhousie. Born and raised in Whitney Pier, he is a member of the Nova Scotia and Cape Breton Barristers' Societies.
