About Danny
Danny Graham is Counsel to McInnes Cooper, advising on business matters, corporate social responsibility, and Aboriginal law and Indigenous peoples. He has served as lead counsel in cases before all levels of court up to the Supreme Court of Canada and has advised Justice Canada, the United Nations, and the governments of Thailand, Jamaica, Tanzania and Ukraine. From 2006 to 2014 he was Nova Scotia's Chief Negotiator on Aboriginal rights in the Made in Nova Scotia Process, and he co-authored a ten-year economic plan for the province, We Choose Now. Danny is a former leader of the Nova Scotia Liberal Party and MLA for Halifax Citadel, and currently serves as Chief Engagement Officer of Engage Nova Scotia. He was called to the Nova Scotia bar in 1989.
