Tracy Sandler has advised on insolvency and restructuring mandates for more than thirty years, including matters involving Target, General Motors, and Canwest. Tracy practises corporate and commercial law with a focus on recapitalizations, reorganizations, and restructurings, along with related acquisitions and divestitures. Tracy acts as an advisor to debtor companies, boards of directors, lending syndicates, and private equity sponsors, and regularly advises court-appointed monitors. Tracy is recognized for experience in cross-border insolvency proceedings. Chambers and Partners ranks Tracy in its top tier nationally and globally for insolvency and restructuring work. Tracy is a Fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy and a member of the Insolvency Institute of Canada. Tracy previously served as national chair of Osler's insolvency and restructuring group, sat on the firm's operating committee, and completed two terms on the partners' board.
