About Tom

Tom Stepper is the founding and managing partner of Stepper Law, with more than 25 years of experience in corporate and commercial law and litigation. He advises multi-million dollar family-run businesses and has closed numerous corporate and commercial transactions, including share and asset deals in agriculture, oil field services, manufacturing, and distribution. He served as counsel on a $40 million transaction involving the registration, commercialization, and distribution of agricultural products across Canada, and has represented a fuel supply and leasing company operating in Western Canada. He negotiated a settlement with Alberta Environment on a contamination and remediation matter and has appeared in courts in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia, as well as in US courts and the Canadian Federal Court and Federal Court of Appeal. He holds a BA from Columbia College and a Master of Law, and is a member of the International Bar Association and the London City Bar Association.
