About Tobin
Tobin Horton is a partner at MBBM Lawyers LLP whose practice centers on complex commercial disputes and insurance-related litigation. He was recognized as a Certified Specialist in Civil Litigation by the Law Society of Ontario in 2022 and works closely with domestic, American, and international insurers to evaluate risk and chart a strategic path through trial, settlement, or alternative dispute resolution. His files cover a wide range of losses, including bodily injury, errors and omissions, environmental, flood, fire, hospitality, marine, sports, construction, product liability, and trucking and cargo claims. On the commercial side, he represents corporations, financial institutions, and entrepreneurs in shareholder disputes, contractual breaches, construction disputes, and other commercial torts. Tobin earned his law degree from the University of Ottawa in 2009 and was called to the Ontario bar in 2010, later becoming a member of the Law Society of Alberta in 2019 and the Law Society of Nunavut in 2021.
