Real Estate LawTipper McEwan maintains a litigation practice across insurance, commercial litigation, estate litigation, and real property disputes, and has appeared before all levels of court in Nova Scotia as well as before administrative tribunals such as the Utility and Review Board and the Human Rights Tribunal. His insurance work includes defending casualty claims and providing coverage opinions under automobile, property, and commercial policies. In estate litigation, he represents clients in disputes over the validity of wills, claims under the Testator's Family Maintenance Act, and challenges to powers of attorney and executors' accounts. He also handles real property matters such as easements, restrictive covenants, and adverse possession claims. He earned his LL.B. from Dalhousie University in 2010, an M.A. from Queen's University in 2006, and a B.A. (honours) from Queen's University in 2005. He was called to the Nova Scotia bar in 2011.
