About Andrea

Andrea Pierce is a partner in Cox & Palmer's Fredericton office. She spent the first ten years of her practice in the firm's Halifax office before returning home to New Brunswick, and was called to the Nova Scotia bar in 2013 and the New Brunswick bar in 2023. In family law, Andrea assists clients through difficult periods of transition, negotiating complex cohabitation and separation agreements and advocating at trial on parenting, child support, spousal support and division of family assets. She also practises health law and litigation, appearing before courts including the Court of Appeal and various administrative tribunals. Andrea earned a Bachelor of Commerce with Distinction at Queen's University, including an exchange at the University of Western Australia, and a law degree at the University of New Brunswick; she joined Cox & Palmer as a summer student in 2010 aside from a one-year clerkship with the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia in 2015-2016.
