About Thomas

Thomas Munn is a Partner in Cox & Palmer's St. John's office, with a commercial practice focused on construction and infrastructure law, energy and natural resources, and commercial transactions. He advises owners and contractors on minimizing liability and completing work on time and on a cost-effective basis, covering mechanics' liens, contract negotiation and drafting, and construction disputes. He holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Memorial University (2014) and a Juris Doctor from the Dalhousie University Schulich School of Law (2017), and was called to the Newfoundland and Labrador Bar in 2018. Thomas chairs the Construction Law Section of the Canadian Bar Association for Newfoundland and Labrador and has acted in corporate and commercial matters including business sales and acquisitions, secured financings, and joint ventures. He is also a member of Cox & Palmer's Start-Ups Practice Group, advising entrepreneurs on their businesses' corporate and commercial needs.
