About Thomas

Thomas Guscott is an associate lawyer with Desmarais, Keenan LLP who joined the firm in May 2023. Thomas's practice focuses mainly on family law and tax litigation, and Thomas also advises on residential and commercial real estate and insolvency and bankruptcy matters. With a background in accounting and tax, Thomas brings added insight to complex corporate, trust, tax, business, and investment structures as they relate to family law files, and Thomas regularly advises clients on child and spousal support, property disputes, separation agreements, cohabitation arrangements, and marriage contracts. Thomas graduated from the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law at Lakehead University in 2019 and holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from Laurentian University, earned in 2015. Thomas sits on the board of United Way Centraide North-East Ontario.
