About Krista
Krista Fortier has practised law since her call to the bar in 1999, focusing on real estate, family law, and wills and estates. She represents clients buying and selling residential real estate, including the related financing, and negotiates separation agreements, cohabitation agreements, and marriage contracts, regularly appearing in the Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Justice on parenting, support, and property matters. She is a Collaborative Law lawyer and a certified mediator with the Association of Family Mediators, and she works with other lawyers and specialists to help separating or divorcing parties reach a mutually acceptable resolution. Krista is a panel lawyer for the Office of the Children's Lawyer and the Family Responsibility Office, and prosecutes on behalf of the Ministry of Transportation and the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks.
