About Theodore
Theodore Madison, known as Ted, was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1977 and joined the two-lawyer firm of Beechie & Kerr in London, which became Beechie, Madison, Sawchuk after John Kerr's appointment to the bench in 1983, before joining Miller Thomson in 2009. Theodore Madison's practice evolved from general litigation into insurance defence and plaintiff's personal injury work, and included over 26 years as an agent for the Attorney General of Canada, prosecuting under the Narcotic Control Act, the Income Tax Act and the Excise Act. Theodore Madison has served on the panel for the Office of the Children's Lawyer for many years, taught at the Bar Admission Course from 1989 to 2005, and is an Alternate Chair of the Ontario Review Board and a Dispute Resolution Officer for the Ontario Superior Court of Justice (Family Court) in London. Theodore Madison earned an LL.B. from Western University in 1975 and a B.A. from the University of Waterloo in 1972, and received the 2011 Ontario Volunteer Service Award.
