About Nancy

Nancy Young earned a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management in 2004 before completing her law degree at Queen's University in 2007. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2008 and now practises exclusively in civil litigation. Her work spans catastrophic injury claims, motor vehicle accident cases, long-term disability benefits, slip and fall matters, sexual assault claims, and wills and estates disputes, and she has appeared before various levels of Ontario courts as well as the Financial Services Commission and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal. She belongs to the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association and writes for its publication. In 2012 she started a free legal clinic with the Chinese Family Services of Ontario and regularly travels to Kenora to assist Indigenous clients. She speaks both English and Cantonese.
