About Thassiane

Thassiane Gossler works with startups and growth-stage companies on corporate matters from formation through exit, including financing deals, reorganizations, and M&A across industries such as gaming, fintech, healthtech, and e-commerce. She advises founders and investors on seed-stage instruments like SAFEs, convertible notes, and preferred shares, and drafts and negotiates technology and IP agreements, including licenses, SaaS agreements, and privacy policies. As a lawyer qualified in both Ontario and Brazil, she also helps foreign startups expand into Canada. Thassiane holds an LLM from Western University, where she researched international taxation on a full scholarship, an LLM in Canadian Common Law from Osgoode Hall Law School, and a Bachelor of Laws from Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos in Brazil. Before her legal career in Ontario she clerked for judges on a state Court of Appeal in Brazil. She was called to the Ontario bar in 2021.
