About Terry

Terry Zakreski has been a partner at the firm since 1999 and received his King's Counsel appointment in 2015. He is a seasoned litigator with trial and appeal experience before all levels of court in Saskatchewan, numerous tribunals, the Federal Court of Canada, and the Supreme Court of Canada. His most notable case was Monsanto v Schmeiser, a patent infringement matter he took from trial to the Supreme Court and which became the subject of documentaries, a play, and a film. His current focus is commercial and agricultural law, product liability, personal injury, malpractice, and intellectual property, and he has been a registered trademark agent for over twenty years while also teaching trial advocacy at the University of Saskatchewan College of Law.
