About Teresa

Teresa Tomchak is a partner in the Disputes Group at Osler's Vancouver office, with a practice centred on securities litigation and regulation. Over more than 25 years, she has acted in numerous shareholder disputes, hostile takeover bids, proxy contests, and contested plans of arrangement, along with securities class action defence work. Teresa has represented clients in investigations and enforcement hearings before provincial securities commissions on matters including alleged insider trading and market manipulation. She has also advised special committees on internal investigations, including whistleblower complaints, and on other transactional matters.
