About Guntaas
Guntaas is a Punjabi-speaking Vancouver family lawyer, born and raised in the Lower Mainland. She was called to the BC Bar in 2019 and has experience in criminal and civil litigation, personal injury, and family law, with a particular interest in employment and workplace human rights. Since 2021 she has focused on divorce and family law, representing clients in Supreme Court, mediation, and negotiated settlements involving support, asset division, parenting arrangements, and marriage, cohabitation, and separation agreements. In 2011 she became the first Sikh-Punjabi-Canadian to take part in the Minority Rights Fellowship at the UN High Commission for Human Rights in Geneva. She understands Hindi and Urdu in addition to speaking Punjabi.
