About Taran

Taran Saund is an associate lawyer who began articling with the firm in January 2021 and was called to the bar on August 25, 2022. He focuses on criminal law and traffic matters. Raised in Surrey, British Columbia, he completed a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology at Kwantlen Polytechnic University before earning an LL.B. from the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom in July 2019. As a student, he worked as a Student Advisor at the Free Legal Advice Group (FLAG) at the University of Birmingham, helping research and provide legal advice, primarily in criminal and family law matters, to people who could not afford traditional legal services. He is fluent in Punjabi and has experience communicating with Punjabi-speaking clients.
