About Joseph

Joseph A. Zak grew up in the Boundary Country of southern British Columbia and earned a combined degree in commerce and law at the University of British Columbia. He moved to Kamloops to begin his legal career and has practised there ever since, focusing on personal injury claims arising from motor vehicle collisions, slip and fall accidents, and defective products. He represents clients throughout BC and Alberta who have been denied insurance coverage, and regularly uses mediation and settlement conferences to advance his clients' interests. He has served on the Law Society of British Columbia's Unauthorized Practice Committee, chaired the CBA's National Insurance Law Section, and sat on the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia's Board of Governors.
