About Tara

Tara Chandran is a lawyer and advocate who joined J. de Whytell Law in 2023. She earned a B.A. in political science from McGill University in 2019 and graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2022 before being called to the Ontario bar in 2023. She articled at Grillo Law and previously worked as a research assistant for Dr. Deborah McGregor on Indigenous knowledge systems and environmental justice. Her practice focuses on Indigenous law and criminal defence.
